Welcome to Top10Archive! We live in a day and age where nuclear power is becoming a common need for daily life. In 2011, the Key World Energy Statistics found that 10% of the world's electricity was provided via nuclear power plants; but what, ultimately, fuels these plants to provide power? All across the globe, uranium mines gather the natural resource used as the basis of all nuclear power; and while many countries contribute to the mining of uranium, these 10 countries provide the highest amount per year, based on tonnes mined in 2013. Uranium is a natural element with an average concentration of 2.8 parts per million on the Earth’s crust. It is more abundant than gold, silver or mercury, approximately the same as tin as and slightly less abundant than cobalt or lead. More than half of the world's uranium production comes from Australia, Canada, or Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is, by far, the largest producer of uranium, approximately about 40 percent of global production. It should not be surprising, then, that five of the ten biggest uranium mines are located in the Central Asian country. Olympic Dam mine, Australia: Olympic Dam mine is a large poly-metallic underground mine located in South Australia. It is the second largest uranium-producing mine in the world. Appx 70% of the mine's revenue comes from copper, 25% from uranium, and the remainder from silver and gold. The Olympic Dam mine uses 35 million litres of Great Artesian Basin water each day, making it the largest industrial user of underground water in the southern hemisphere. McArthur River Uranium Mine: McArthur River Uranium Mine in Canada, is the world's largest high-grade uranium deposit. Production at McArthur River began in 1999 and the mine has an average ore grade of nearly 11% triuranium octoxide over 100 times the world average. Arlit Uranium. Mine, Niger: Arlit mine is a large mine located near Arlit, in the northern part of Niger. Uranium is extracted from the sedimentary deposit at depths of 50 to 70 meters and heap leached on site, at the open-pit mine. Ranger Uranium Mine: Ranger Uranium Mine is a mine in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is operated by Energy Resources of Australia, a 68% subsidiary of Rio Tinto Group. Uranium mined at Ranger is sold for use in nuclear power stations in Asia, Europe and North America. Ranger Uranium Mine is the open-pit mine produced 3216tU, approximately 6% of the world total. Langer Heinrich mine: Langer Heinrich mine is a large open pit mine located in the western part of Namibia Desert. Uranium is found within carnotite, an oxide that contains uranium and vanadium. The mine produces up to 1,180t of uranium oxide concentrate from 1.5Mt of calcrete-hosted ores per year. Krasnokamensk Uranium Mine, Russia: The Priargunsky mine is a large open pit mine located near the town of Krasnokamensk in the southern part of Russia. Priargunsky mine, delivered 3 percent of the world’s total uranium output. South Inkai Uranium Mine, Kazakhstan: South Inkai mine is a large in-situ leaching mine located in the southern part of Kazakhstan. It is one of the largest uranium reserves in Kazakhstan having estimated reserves of 135.4 million tonnes of ore grading 0.026% uranium. Budenovskoye 2 Uranium Mine, Kazakhstan: Budenovskoye 2 Uranium Mine, Kazakhstan having estimated reserves of 40.7 million tonnes of ore grading 0.022% uranium Rossing Uranium Mine: Rossing Uranium Mine in Namibia is the longest-running and one of the largest open pit uranium mines in the world. Mine produced 3,711 tonnes of uranium oxide, becoming the fifth-largest uranium mine with 8 per cent of global output.

Following President Trump's shrinking of the protected areas in Utah's Bears Ears National Monument, speculation grew of a land rush and a move to open more uranium mines in the area. But the prospectors hoping to get rich quick never came. What did happen was a rollback of protected lands, another American affront to Native Americans, and a system of claims and permits that makes "land rushes" a web of paperwork and fieldwork. Skyharbour Resources Ltd (CVE:SYH) (OTCMKTS:SYHBF) (FRA:SC1P) President and CEO Jordan Trimble has nothing but enthusiasm for the company’s uranium drill program. Skyharbour’s Northern Saskatchewan project site is in the Athabasca Basin and boasts the best uranium grades in the world, 20 times greater than is typical. Skyharbour’s flagship project is at Moore Lake, where the company has drilled for several years. Trimble reveals that uranium powers 11 percent of the world’s energy, but few companies are left operating in the space. He explains the value proposition Skyharbour offers investors, noting that major uranium mines are shutting down and uranium prices have rebounded from the Fukushima Daiichi disaster. He also indicates that uranium demand continues to grow, especially from China and India. ************************ Check out our website: https://midasletter.com ************************ SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterYoutube SUBSCRIBE to our 2nd YouTube Channel - Midas Letter Clips: https://bit.ly/2rtQzgy SUBSCRIBE to our Newsletter: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterNewsletter Download Our Podcast on iTunes: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterPodcast ************************ Follow Us on Twitter: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterTwitter Like Us on Instagram: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterInsta Like Us on Facebook: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterFacebook ************************ #WeedStocks #MidasLetter

March 27, 2018 – "The current truth of the uranium market is, it is an incredibly tough space. It is incredibly misunderstood. For the average investor trying to find out exactly what is going on is like a needle in a haystack. It is hard." states Andrea Jennetta, President and Founder of International Nuclear Associates Inc., in an interview with InvestorIntel’s Peter Clausi. Peter Clausi: You are one of the global uranium experts on the real market, not on all the noise around the market. Andrea Jennetta: That is correct. Peter Clausi: How did you get to be here? Andrea Jennetta: I got to be here by hook, by crook, by clawing, by scraping, by starting my own company, having my own vision and wanting to tell the truth about the uranium market, good, bad, ugly. Peter Clausi: What is your current truth in the uranium market? Andrea Jennetta: The current truth of the uranium market is it is an incredibly tough space. It is incredibly misunderstood. For the average investor trying to find out exactly what is going on is like a needle in a haystack. It is hard. Peter Clausi: Earlier this week Kazakhstan was here at PDAC talking about supplying the Chinese with as much uranium as China wants. What is your take on that? Andrea Jennetta: China is Kazatomprom’s number one customer. When we talk about Kazakhstan we need to understand the difference between Kazatomprom . . . Peter Clausi: Which is the government owned agency. Andrea Jennetta: That is right; and the country. The country itself is the leading producer of uranium in the world. It has several mining operations, most of which are run and managed with western companies, except for Uranium One, which is now owned by the Russians. Cameco is in there. Kazatomprom itself . . . Peter Clausi: The difference between the country and the marketing arm Andrea Jennetta: Yes, I think that is very important. With respect to a marketing arm they do not have one. That is a myth. China is their biggest customer. Most of the material that Kazatomprom is entitled to through these joint ventures goes to China. Peter Clausi: Kazakhstan number one. Who is number two? Andrea Jennetta: That would be Canada. Peter Clausi: What is happening in Canada? Go Canada, Cigar Lake! Andrea Jennetta: What is happening in Canada is incredibly interesting and perhaps, dare I say it, possibly risky. Peter Clausi: How so? Andrea Jennetta: Risk is not a word that you normally associate with Cameco. However, Cameco decided in November 2017 to shut down McArthur River thereby taking 18 million pounds out of the market immediately. They want to get prices higher. The only way to get prices higher is to take away demand. Peter Clausi: Basic capitalism; supply and demand curve. Andrea Jennetta: Absolutely. Cigar Lake continues to produce; the problem though is that Cameco also cut its capex, its development capex to almost zero. Peter Clausi: There are risks in the pipeline. Andrea Jennetta: Absolutely. If they cannot expand Cigar Lake fast enough to meet their own delivery commitments who knows what is going to happen? Peter Clausi: Now one of the largest consumers of uranium in the world is the United States. Yet it only produces 5% of its needs. Andrea Jennetta: Yes that is correct. Peter Clausi: You have some sovereign risk there. They are not in control of their own destiny...to access the complete interview, click here

Mercenary Geologist Mickey Fulp has spoken previously with the Investing News Network about the gold price, the problems with major gold miners and the state of the TSX Venture Exchange. However, most recently he stopped by to share his thoughts on the uranium market. Fulp is bullish on uranium, and began by explaining that he believes the market hit bottom last summer when the price slipped to $28 per pound. "We've seen a very significant rise in prices. [It's now] floating around $35 to $37," he said. And while that "doesn't really get anybody excited," it's probably about a 30-percent increase from last summer. "Equities for the most part have followed suit," he added. He also touched on Japanese reactor restarts, commenting that Kyushu Electric Power Company's (TSE:9508) two reactors at the Sendai nuclear power plant might be back online by the end of the month, and if not, "by the end of this quarter." That prediction has already proven timely — since the interview was conducted, news has surfaced that Kyushu will restart one unit at the Sendai nuclear power plant on August 11. Of course, Japan is only part of the uranium demand story. Fulp emphasized that while reactor restarts there will be important in stoking uranium demand, other countries will also need more uranium moving forward. Those include big names like China, India and Russia, as well as less-discussed countries like Argentina, Turkey and Korea. "I think right now there's something on the order of 61 reactors under construction, and about one per month going into criticality and start ups, so that's a pretty bullish scenario," he commented. In closing, Fulp discussed how utilities contribute to uranium demand and outlined his predictions for the uranium price. He also mentioned a few of his favorite uranium stocks: producer Energy Fuels (TSX:EFR,NYSEMKT:UUUU), developer Uranium Resources (NASDAQ:URRE) and prospect generator CanAlaska Uranium (TSXV:CVV). He said he is a "long-term committed shareholder" of Energy Fuels, and in terms of Uranium Resources is excited about the company's impending acquisition of Anatolia Energy (ASX:AEK). That "will give them a very short-term path to production in Turkey," he said. CanAlaska is his Athabasca Basin pick, though Fulp is also interested in the company's joint venture just outside the basin with Northern Uranium (TSXV:UNO). Watch the video above for more of Fulp's thoughts and what he believes all three of his stock picks have in common. Mickey Fulp’s Disclosure: Mickey Fulp owns shares of Energy Fuels, Uranium Resources and CanAlaska Uranium. All three are paying sponsors of his website, MercenaryGeologist.com.

Amir Adnani, the founder and Chairman of Brazil Resources and CEO of Uranium Energy Corp joins us to discuss everything from the real world costs of mining one ounce of physical gold, to the HUI hitting new lows while major stock market indexes soar to new highs. It's been a multi-year bloodletting for anyone who owns mining stocks, and with Brazil Resources (Full Disclosure: I own none) back down near its IPO price, we wanted Amir's take on the beaten down, unloved precious metals mining sector -- a contrarian play if ever there was one. Adnani says, 'The cycles are necessary and create opportunities... we need these down periods because these are the windows where you can substantially grow your company, you can acquire assets for cents on the dollar." Regarding the current prices of silver and gold being below the costs of production for many miners, even as every government on earth is printing fiat currency as fast as possible, Adnani says, "This is the disconnect, almost of a lifetime... and again it creates incredible opportunities, and you have to do something with it." As for uranium and the nuclear power sector, I ask Amir the tough questions about Fukushima. Can nuclear power generation really ever be safe? Given the absolute environmental catastrophe caused by the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, what is the future of nuclear power, a major energy source for the world? Adnani answers the tough questions and shares his insights candidly in this nearly 40-minute long interview. We caught up with Daniel Major, CEO of Goviex Uranium, an Africa-focused uranium mining company. They have projects in Niger, Zambia and Mali. With Goviex seeing an improving Uranium price, and permits in place for two of those projects, it sounds like 2019 will be very busy for Goviex. Daniel explained why Goviex is 100% focussed on Africa for their Uranium. He believes the speed at which projects can be set up is critical. Also, the mining culture in the countries in which they operate gives them a stable background to help take the company forward, after all, Uranium has been mined in many of these areas for over fifty years. What about uranium prices in the future? Daniel gives us his argument for why he’s bullish on Uranium prices – citing nuclear demand back to where it was pre-Fukushima, a faster rate of new reactor builds and a primary production deficit of Uranium at the moment.

"The only operating rare earth mine in the United States sends all of their valuable resources to China for processing. Congress does not know this. They think this [mining] company is supplying the U.S. value chain, [and] is supplying the military. It is in-fact, the opposite. They are part of the Chinese monopoly. They're taking powder and shipping it to China, and it comes back as a magnet, or an alloy, or a bolt-on component." - Jim Kennedy To address this issue, contact your legislators to support H.R.4883 https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/113/hr4883 Why can't Molycorp, Lynas or any other 'western' rare earth company succeed? China's production and market advantage in Rare Earth Elements (REE) is largely the result of NRC and IAEA "Source Material" regulations with unintended consequences. Source Material: Materials containing any ratio or combination of Thorium and Uranium above .05%. Producing or holding these materials within the regulatory threshold (.05%) requires extensive and wide-ranging licensing, storage, transportation, remediation disposal and compliance costs, including prohibitive liability and bonding issues. Consequently any potential supplier of byproduct / co-product rare earth resources that would be designated as "source material' disposes of these valuable resources to avoid liability and compliance issues. NRC / IAEA regulations regarding "Source Material" played a key roll in undermining the economic viability of all 'western' rare earth producers and are a critical factor in China's current 'market advantage'. Producers like Molycorp and Lynas, with low Thorium deposits, can never compete with China. Resources are abundant and available: U.S mining companies currently mine as much as 50% of global Rare Earth Elements demand every year. But these resources are diverted in tailings lakes or are redistributed back into the host ore body, due to NRC and IAEA regulations defining Monazite and other Thorium bearing rare earth resources as "Source Material". H.R. 4883 would solve the "Thorium Problem" by creating a federally chartered multinational Thorium Energy and Industrial Products Corporation ("Thorium Bank"). Privately funded and operated, this would decouple thorium from rare earth production. The Thorium Corporation would also have Congressional Authority to develop Thorium energy systems and industrial products. Environmental regulations are not scaled back... rather this enables thorium to be stored safely & securely, rather then being treated as "waste". https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/113/hr4883 H.R. 4883 thus also addresses the U.S. Weapons Systems current 100% Dependency on China for Rare Earths. http://thoriumenergyalliance.com/downloads/TEAC6/USWeaponsChinese.pdf Federal Legislation governing Strategic Materials, 10 USC 2533b, does not specify rare earths, but includes metal alloys containing limited amounts of manganese, silicon, copper, or aluminum, chromium, cobalt, columbium, molybdenum, nickel, titanium, tungsten, vanadium, nickel and iron-nickel, cobalt, Titanium and Zirconium alloys. Federal Regulations require that these materials be melted in the U.S. Most of these materials are utilized in rare earth alloys, magnets and components in the defense industry. The bill does NOT reclassify thorium. It does NOT alter current environmental protection. It simply resolves "The Thorium Problem" which cripples United States domestic rare earth mining, processing and value-adding processes. Russia saying it will load fuel into Iran's first nuclear power plant on August 21st has escalated our concerns that any new tensions between the Kremlin and the White House may cause Russia to consider exporting more of its uranium to China and India rather than the U.S. since they may be able to get more lucrative offers. The move by the Russians has also raised our eyebrows considering the U.S. had asked them to hold off starting the plant until Iran has stopped enriching uranium. This news, coupled with reasons we outline in this segment has us thinking the price of uranium is about to get "energized". Check out The Commodity Chronicles on bluephoenixinc.com for a 30-day trial offer.

David feels that uranium has made a move toward rationality, although he warns it still has a long way to go. There is now real price movement, volume and thus benefits to price discovery. What is exciting about the long bear market, is the detrimental effect it had on the uranium industry. There are very few good uranium projects out there. When utilities go looking for supplies there will be a real pinch, they won’t be able find any. He believes that 2017 is similar to the beginning of the last commodity super cycle of 2004, which was largely driven by China. China is looking to expand their clean nuclear industry with upwards of 200 reactors from the current 35. China will therefore become the largest consumer of uranium, he thinks this is the beginning of a uranium super cycle. David is very excited about the speculative potential in the coming market. David discusses how there are no uranium mines in the world that can make money at the $18.00 level and why it made sense to call that as a market bottom. He says $40 dollar uranium looks to be the necessary price for production to begin. In the longer term, going out to 2025, prices will need be a lot higher. KazAtomProm is discussed, how their recent production cuts and restructuring to a more commercial business style from a state run industry is benefiting the uranium market. Mr. Cates details underfeeding which is a reference to the enrichment process and how it can dramatically affect the supply and thus the price in both good and bad markets. Unlike oil and gas which takes days, uranium mines require five to ten years to begin production. He discusses Denison Mines and their interest in GoviEx in Africa, how they have a good resource base and how it could become a billion dollar company. Denison is very well capitalized having recently raised 20 million in financing and and has the flexibility to do what will be needed.

Why are Canadian warships in the Persian gulf? What if Iran wanted to put some in Lake Ontario? or off PEI say. Shameful stupid move that endangers everyone on the planet. Lets hope that the current government does not supply the nuclear tech that will eventually pose a great threat to all people in many regions. Is UAE a democratic country? human rights? women's rights? Very close ties with Iran the UAE has according to American officials in Congress! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YH1GBVLgNUU how's Afghanistan going? troops are still there from Canada. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtP-z7WBzfA . Sad when state paid Russian tv debates like CBC used too before the evil warmonger agenda pushers took over. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y93MoC13ACo Many of those black masked Allah Ahkbar screaming protesters in Syria are openly funded by Saudi Arabia and the UAE so how can Canada support that? http://babakdarvish.blogspot.ca/2012/08/can-syrias-christians-survive-saudi.html . Theatre of the absurd as Harper and Baird flirt with every Canadian's safety and reputation as peaceful people throughout the middle east and north Africa just to make millions for someone off dangerous nuclear tech. If the uranium or byproducts get stolen by extremists it is on Harper and his policy not the average Canadian. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/canada-uae-nuclear-deal-touted-as-example-for-iran/article4552179/ . Every member sitting including the fake NDP voted to bomb the crap out of Libya even Libby Davies NDP and Justin Tru-(my dad was PET)-doe lib warmongers? Warmongers the lot or so stupid they should still be in grade school and not exploiting voters and skimming off Canada's natural resources. Was the China uranium deal recently a concession from the millions perhaps billions China had invested in pre war Libya? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hioSFBCYZUI His reporting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iroUkvyu-Q . Abusive idealogical class structured (not allowing equal rights to all faiths) dictators just like in UAE it seems where as Iran actually has an elected parliament and monitored elections: In fact the Conservatives are acting like it is their final term and going to drag the whole country down with them. The UAE has more news about being close to terror than ever printed recently about Iran, so is Mr Baird supporting these guys now? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUW9MWLIQYw http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_in_the_United_Arab_Emirates Disgusting did Canada's policy makers not learn from giving both India and Pakistan tech, that countries that get Canada'a nuke tech develop bombs to threaten others? Is Iran? that had Nuclear assistance from US in 1970's competing in the uranium market or planning too. Canada's parliament and conservatives want to sell other islamic states and China high grade uranium before a competitor is in that region. How is Suncor doing on those oil contracts in Libya I wonder?. A real Canadian hero!!!!:too bad 70% are more into entertainment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKxjk-2PXB0 . China evac'd it's oil workers from that country a week before the bombings on cruise ships will the next evacuees have that kind of ride? . Harper & Baird care more about these guys than single parents or Canadian start-up business's that are honest, possible funders of terrorism as reported many times in right proper publications. Google UAE Dubai plus terrorists financing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOdaCpkEqWE. . What companies will profit and how much of a share will the average Canuck get? UAE betrayed our armed forces already once what will they act like when they have a few bombs? and tell Baird and Harper deals off we are keeping that high grade uranium.

Hidden Gems: After suffering the Soviets, the Taliban, and the War on Terror, Afghanistan has had its share of turmoil; but can 1,000 billion dollars worth of emeralds lift Afghanistan out of poverty? He's a Frenchman who first came to Afghanistan to train Afghan security services before venturing into the emerald trade. He sees a huge chance here to exploit a market that could easily increase in value twenty or thirty-fold, but the obstacles are not inconsiderable. Just to get to the mines Raphael has to travel the 150 Kilometres from Kabul to Panjshir, right through Taliban kidnap country. When he gets there he finds an industry in the dark ages, where homemade pyrotechnics are exploded in poorly dug mineshafts, killing many miners and ruining the quality of up to 75% of the stones they dig. "If you see the damage being done to these stones... so much is lost", Yama Torabi from Integrity Watch Afghanistan tells us. The government here remains hopelessly out of touch with the industry that "still (uses) a mining law adopted 100 years ago". But as the country prepares for elections and Europeans like Raphael open up the gem trade here, could this be a beacon of hope for the future? We have quite possibly identified the most well versed uranium investor in the space today. His name is Russell Fryer and he is the manager for Baobab Natural Resources Fund, a fund heavily invested in the uranium sector. Russell believes that while many investors are focused on uranium demand out of China and India, more attention should be paid to demand back home. The United States is the largest consumer of yellow cake in the world and companies developing and producing uranium assets in country have substantial benefits. There are only 4 mill licenses in the USA and it is unlikely there will be many more granted. Therefore, Russell believes it is crucial to take a look at the companies controlling existing mills and invest wisely. Talking points from this weeks interview: • There are opportunities in the USA that are tremendously undervalued • Uranium fundamentals strengthening • Important factors to consider when investing • Russell’s favorite uranium stocks that merit investment dollars

Keep in mind a VERY important thing with all of this: This entire Hammond Ranch incident is being used as a front for an armed protest and seizure of Federal property the Hammonds do not approve of, and it is all being done with PERFECT timing for Obama's new attempt at a gun grab. I firmly believe the Hammonds are being thrown in jail by the government to provide a precedent for a fake armed protest by the government to justify a massive gun grab BY THE GOVERNMENT. It all fits. Especially with the Hammonds openly stating they do not agree with the protest, it just fits. Required read: This is very eye opening information on the Hammond Ranch situation that has additional information completely different from what I posted above, this is a job very well done and I'd say a required read. The video was uploaded one day before the scheduled protest , which was the same day the militia took over the federal refuge, or January 1st. Why would Obama order the ranch destroyed before any of the last 24’s events took place? From what YouTuber William Mount says, there is MUCH more to this story, and in typical Obama fashion, it’s all absolutely FILTHY… every damn bit of it. Mount says that “what the feds have” with the rest of the land surrounding the Hammond Ranch, is well documented in U.S. Geological Survey Bulletin 1740-B. Download it now before it gets taken down. It turns out that the land the feds own, and the land in question at the Hammond Ranch have enormous amounts of Natural Gas, Uranium, Mercury, and Arsenic. If you follow me regularly, you know I cover the economy and the looming financial implosion of the U.S. Dollar very closely, and I’ve been saying for some time that the Dollar collapse is imminent. William Mount reports that the Treasury Department is well aware of the pending crash and has plans to issue a new Dollar later in 2016, that will be backed by natural gas and oil, and the Hammond Ranch is the only thing holding up the extraction of the resources owned by the feds. Furthermore, Mount says in an effort to appease our largest creditor, Obama has already cut a deal with the Chinese to take the Uranium for their nuclear program. At this point, if you’re like me, you’re thinking that all sounds nice, a bit far fetched perhaps, despite the supporting U.S. Geological Survey, but not impossible right? BUT, how exactly is all that mining going to get done, who’s going to do it, and how is the Uranium allegedly going to get to China? Uh… Ok. I suppose THAT is how the the mining will get done, and the Uranium shipped to China. Wow. Mount says Obama’s feds have been harassing the Hammond Ranch very aggressively for a long time in an effort to get at the natural gas and Uranium resources the land holds, but to no avail. Now, the feds have simplified their plan: Toss the Hammond’s in prison for a grossly excessive sentence, and see to it that they meet unfortunate and untimely deaths while there. Remember, per the article, “In the Hammonds’ plea agreement in the 2012 trial, the BLM obtained the first right of refusal should the family have to sell their private land,” or if they should happen to come to an early dirt nap “retirement” so to speak. Property rights attorney Karen Budd-Falen from Cheyenne, Wyoming, brings up a fascinating point as it relates to the prison sentence. She says, “What totally amazes me is what these guys did – they burned 140 acres. If you compare that to the EPA spill in Colorado, it amazes me that NOTHING will happen to those EPA employees.” With respect to the EPA folks, she goes on, “You have cities down there [in Colorado] with no drinking water. The Hammonds didn’t do anything like that,” and with the well documented deposits they are sitting on, there sentence is all just a coincidence? Please! There are never coincidences with Obama. There are only schemes. http://thelastgreatstand.com/2016/01/03/breaking-news-obama-orders-hammond-ranch-destroyed/ U.S. Geological Survey Bulletin 1740-B http://pubs.usgs.gov/bul/1740b/report.pdf Mineral Resources of the Harney County, Oregon - USGS http://pubs.usgs.gov/bul/1740c/report.pdf http://pubs.usgs.gov/bul/1740b/plate-1.pdf

China's Thorium-MSR (Molten Salt Reactor) program has created a promotional video. Conrad Knauer found this on http://wemedia.ifeng.com and shared on Twitter: https://twitter.com/ConradKnauer/status/1030373450324443138 Some translated excerpts: Of the 6 types of fourth generation atomic reactors the type that combines both atmospheric pressure and high temperature is the molten salt reactor including both liquid fuel and solid fuel types. The liquid fuel type molten salt reactor incorporates online reprocessing to maximize the fuel utilization of the thorium cycle. The solid fuel molten salt reactor can achieve higher temperature to maximize efficiency of combined heat and power generation applications. Thorium based molten salt reactors can be used in inland water-scarce areas and can allow us to use the vast resources of Northwest China to achieve energy and resource independence. In 2011, to advance the development requirements of our nation The Chinese Academy of Sciences commenced The "Near future disruptive change atomic energy - Thorium molten salt reactor apparatus" strategic pilot science and technology project, with political power behind the molten salt reactor research. In the past 5 years, the development of key systems and techniques have made vital advancements Specialized developments established the software analysis system required to study the molten salt reactor and grasped the thorium molten salt reactor design analysis technique completed the world's first experimental solid fuel molten salt reactor engineering design with national and international co-operation we have formulated a safety standard for thorium molten salt reactors as well as anti-proliferation and safety classification documentation. Specific breakthroughs have occurred in the molten salt reactor itself and techniques in many crucial areas related to the molten salt reactor loop successfully research and developing molten salt pumps, molten salt heat exchanges, high-temperature instrumentation and controls, etc. The project establishes an all-new online separation process combined with a dry method of reprocessing that simultaneously realizes the online dry reprocessing, pioneering isotopic solvent extraction and centrifugal separation. In a world first, the technology's cascade separation and batch preparation. puts fluoride salt preparation and purification within grasp, allowing production in the scale of tons. Malawi’s government has failed to protect the rights and livelihoods of people living in nascent mining communities, Human Rights Watch said today in a report released on eve of the International Right to Know Day. Families living near coal and uranium mining operations face serious problems with water, food, and housing, and are left in the dark about health and other risks from mining. The 96-page report, “‘They Destroyed Everything’: Mining and Human Rights in Malawi,” examines the impact of extractive industries on communities in some of Malawi’s first mining areas, in Karonga district located on the northwestern shores of Lake Malawi. Malawi’s government has promoted private investment in mining and resource extraction to diversify its economy. But environmental risks are common in resource extraction and mining significantly contributes to climate change, which in turn affects governments’ ability to realize the rights to health, water, and food.

Uranium mining companies have been exploring the arid country of Namibia looking to open new mines. Rössing, a Rio Tinto mine has already been operational for more than 30 years. The implications this mine and future operations is explored from the perspective of the communities living nearby. Through this documentary and two reports (http://www.criirad.org/mines-uranium/namibie/uranium-mining-namibia.html), the EJOLT (www.ejolt.org) team working on nuclear energy sheds light on the dangers of uranium mining in Namibia. Two NGOs in Namibia (Earthlife Namibia and LaRRI), a French independent laboratory specialised in radiation (CRIIRAD) and team coordinator Marta Conde (UAB) partnered to produce this remarkable set of action oriented resources. After a public event on the 10th April 2014 in London -- together with other activists from Madagascar, Papua New Guinea and the US who are also impacted by the activities of Rio Tinto -- an article appeared in The Guardian (http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2014/apr/15/uranium-workers-dying-cancer-rio-tinto-namibia-mine). This event was organised prior to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Rio Tinto that took place on the 15th April 2014. In the AGM, Roger Moody from PARTIZANS presented the results of the study carried out by Earthlife and LaRRI on the impact of uranium mining on workers. March 30, 2014 -- Richard Spencer, President and CEO of U3O8 Corp. ("U3O8" TSX: UWE | OTCQX: UWEEF), speaks to Tracy Weslosky, Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of InvestorIntel, about uranium, rare earths and phosphate projects in South America. In March, U3O8 completed an oversubscribed private placement resulting in proceeds of about USD$1.15 million. Richard said "the insiders stepped up yet again and we've developed some support from a new shareholder over the last couple months and this group has been amazing. They were in the market in December when no one else was....this guy likes this story." Meanwhile, the past few weeks have witnessed a rally in uranium stocks that may herald a forthcoming bull run for uranium company shares. Richard said the "fundamentals for the uranium market are great and, as many analysts predict, there will be a big gap between supply and demand starting in about 2017 and we think it may start a little earlier than that. We're working towards production around that time." U3O8 Corp. is active in the uranium space in Argentina because we like the clear direction and leadership position that the country has assumed. "Argentina's nuclear industry started in the early the fifties and they've got their own nuclear design; in fact, the first small modular reactor under construction anywhere on the planet is under currently under construction in Argentina." Richard states that the Columbia project has resources in uranium, vanadium, phosphate, nickel and rare earths. This source of "phosphate is located 60 kilometers from one of the biggest agricultural areas in Colombia." Moreover, "On a bigger scale than that, South America has got more arable land than the rest of the planet and it has abundant fresh water while Chinese investment in South American agriculture is huge." China has realized that South America will be one of its main sources of food in the next decade. There is also the prospect of phosphate used in a new generation of batteries, that use phosphate-vanadium or phosphate-iron cathodes that are inherently stable and these batteries don't easily overheat as a result of over-charging - They allow for more efficient storage of energy....and they don't overheat" like the average Li-ion battery such as used on the Boeing 787.
