Welcome to a series of self learning videos on understanding and using Vaultastic - the easiest and the most secure email archiving solution yet. This video explains the steps required to configure mail routing rules for users of a domain hosted on G-Suite. Before configuring rules, make sure that you have provisioned all users on the corresponding Vaultastic domain. If a user is not present on vaultastic, emailed messages sent to or received, from that user will not be archived on the vaultastic domain. Make sure you have configured a SMTP route to G-Suite to route mail to Vaultastic. Make sure that you have created a group of users that you need to enable the archiving for. To archive mail transacted by the users of your domain, you need to configure mail routing rules which will forward mails from the primary email server to Vaultastic. Configure a sending routing rule to deliver outbound and internal sending delivery and a receiving routing rule to deliver inbound and internal receiving delivery to vaultastic. First let's configure a sending mail routing rule. Sign-in to the Google admin console. From the dashboard, go to apps select G-Suite and then click the Gmail option to view all the settings related to Gmail. Scroll down and select the 'advanced setting' option on the advanced setting page. Go to the routing section. Hover the mouse over the routing row. If the setting status is not configured yet, click 'configure' to create the rule and if the setting status is locally applied or inherited, click 'add another' to add a new rule. This opens the add setting window here. Give a name to the sending routing rule. Select inbound, outbound, internal sending and internal receiving messages to archive. Apply envelope filter, to affect only specific envelope senders. Select the 'group membership only sent mail' option from the list. Select the 'group of vaultastic users' from the list.Scroll down to decide action to be taken on the filtered messages. Select to modify. Select the ad xgm original - header box scroll down to also deliver to section and select the add more recipient box this will deliver a copy of each mail received by the user to his or her respective archived account on Vaultastic. Click the 'Add' button to specify the recipient on Vaultastic. In the recipients box, choose the advanced option from the list. Select the change route box. Select Vaultastic mails route defines from the list. Select the add x GM original to header box. Save the recipient details. Add settings to configure the rule for your domain. Do not forget to save the rule configured for your domain. Now let's configure receiving routing rule from the advanced settings for Gmail page. On the advanced setting page scroll down to the routing section, hover mouse over the routing row, click 'add another' to add a new rule. This opens the add setting window. Here, give a name to the receiving routing rule. Select inbound, outbound, internal sending and internal receiving messages to archive. Apply envelope filter to affect only specific envelope recipients. Select the 'group membership only received mail' option from the list. Select the group of Vaultastic users from the list scroll down to decide action to be taken on the filtered messages. Select to modify messages, select the add XGM original to header box, Scroll down to also deliver to section and select the 'add more recipient' box. This will deliver a copy of each mail received by the user to his or her respective archived account on Vaultastic. Click the 'Add' button to specify the recipient on Vaultastic in the recipient box. Add settings to configure the rules for your domain. Do not forget to save the rule configured for your domain.
