3 Outrageous Restaurant Marketing Ideas You Must Try

04:23
http://barrestaurantsuccess.com/3-outrageous-restaurant-marketing-ideas/ Do you know one of the easiest ways to get new customers in your doors? Be outrageous and different from everyone else. Times are tough these days and there’s more competition than ever before. You can’t just be good or average. You must go above and beyond to grab attention and stand out to stay ahead of your competition! Give people a reason to choose you over everyone else I’m Nick Fosberg, and you’re watching Bar Restaurant Success, the place bar and restaurant owners visit to discover how to get ahead in business and in life. Today I’m going to give you 3 outrageous restaurant marketing ideas you should try this year to stand out from the competition and win over brand new customers. As a bonus, I’m going to tell you how to get thousands of dollars in free advertising with these promotions too! The first restaurant marketing idea is a food eating competition. Now you might be saying, Nick, this isn’t a marketing idea, it’s a restaurant promotion. Yes, you are right but soon you’ll see how all these promotions are going to tie into one key strategy to bring you hundreds of new customers based around one simple tactic. So, why run a food eating competition? Because people love to be entertained, it’s different, and nobody else is probably doing one of these right now in your area! You can go to any bar or restaurant and eat and drink and watch the game, but how many are doing fun crazy things like this. I run a pizza eating competition, a one pound burger eating competition, and a taco eating competition every year and my customers love it! I tried hot dogs but nobody wanted to get in it because nobody wanted to eat hot dogs! If you’re going to try this out, ask your customers what they’d want first. The second outrageous restaurant marketing idea is running a contest and giving away a free meal per day for an entire year. Why do this? Because it’s an amazing offer, it grabs attention, and who doesn’t want to sign up for a free meal, per day, for an entire year? Are you going to lose money running this competition? Nope not a penny. Here’s how I run this promotion. Set up a one page, lead capture website to collect people’s information in order to sign them up. Drive traffic there using Facebook ads and getting your staff to sign people up. To make this really profitable for you, make everyone a winner by giving them some kind of discount when they sign up and give them 7 days to use it to create some quick sales. What I do for the winner who wins the free meal for a year is the free meal is tied to a restriction that it’s dine in only and they must either purchase 2 beverages with it or buy another full priced meal. I make this clear before they sign up so there is no confusion. By adding in these restrictions you at the very least break even on each meal. The third outrageous restaurant marketing idea is to get a celebrity chef to come in. Why? Because everyone wants to meet a celebrity and this helps you build instant credibility! The way to start looking for someone who isn’t take expensive is look up the chefs that are on Bar Rescue or one of the other food tv shows and contact them to see what they’d charge to come in. Maybe get some of the beer, liquor, and food vendors to help sponsor it. Here’s the big bonus I wanted to fill you in on. When you run outrageous restaurant marketing ideas like this, you don’t have to come out of pocket to promote them. You can use the press. All you have to do is send out a press release about the event and if don’t know how to write one, google it and get a template. You can write one in 30 minutes at most. Take that press release and send it out to your tv, radio, and news stations. They will interview you before the event and you’ll get exposure that way. Then most likely they will show up the day of the event to get more footage and you’ll get exposure again, absolutely free! This brings me to my conclusion. In today’s competitive market, you have to run promotions and marketing strategies like this. You have to be different then everyone else. You have to stand out. Because if you don’t, you’ll never reach the success you’re really looking for. Stay with me each week and I promise to keep delivering you with new strategies and promotions to keep you one step ahead of the competition. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below and I’d be happy to answer them!

Bar Restaurant Marketing Idea - What To Do To Get Customers To Love You!

05:02
http://barrestaurantsuccess.com/ Welcome to another episode of bar owner tv. Today I want to talk about a very simple strategy that will instantly get your new customers to come back more often. Before I get into the details I want you to think in your mind right now of why you continue to go to the same restaurants in your area over and over. What are the reasons besides good food? Is it the atmosphere? Is it the consistency and you know what you are going to get each time you walk in the doors? Is it because you know one of the staff members? Is it because you know the owner? A few years back I was out to eat at a very nice Italian restaurant in my area and I know the owner real well. I didn't decide to go there just because I knew him but because the food was great. My opinion the best Italian food in the area. While my wife and I were eating the owner came up and asked how everything was, talked a little about business, and that was it. Few minutes later our waitress approached us and said the owner would like to buy our next drink. I never expect anything for free and I was pretty surprised. Usually when I go out to dinner nobody is buying me drinks but when I go to other bars, people are always buying drinks for others. So this was totally unexpected. Just that one round of drinks has brought my wife and I back more than usual because I want to give business to those who appreciate my business. Here's Another quick story. Every year I go out to palm springs to golf with my godfather, and there's another place I always want to go Castelli's. Another great Italian restaurant and if you are ever in palm springs, make sure you go there!... The reason I love going to Castellis and the same reason my godfather loves going there is because the owner treats you like family. Not just us, but every damn person that walks into his doors. Every time I've been there over the last 4 years he's been at the front of the restaurant introducing himself. What I like to call creating trust and credibility. So what does all this mean?? What I realized from my own experiences is that what has brought me back to do business with other restaurants was not just the food, but from the relationship that was created with the owner. When the owner or even manager treats you with respect and thanks you for coming in to doing business with them, it hits the trust and credibility triggers in your head. And as I've said many times before, people do business with people who they like and trust. So here's what I suggest you do every time you are at your bar. As soon as you see a group of people or just one customer walk in your door and the server or bartender takes their first order, go up to them and introduce yourself and say something like this... "Hi I'm Nick the owner. I just wanted to come over here and introduce myself because I've never seen you in here before and I wanted to thank you for taking the time to come in." That's not hard to do is it? And how do you think this is going to make them feel? Then depending on what you feel is right, offer them a drink or maybe give them 20% off their tab and have your waitress say to them "Nick wanted to make sure you guys had a good time and he said to take 20% off your tab" I'm not at my bar nearly as much as I used to be so I can't do this all the time, so now I have my managers do this. My goal is for every new person I get into the doors, I want to leave an impression on them that makes them feel like they are important and connected with myself or the managers. Here's what I want you to do. I want you to do this yourself to 50 people over the next 2 weeks and in a notebook write down what happens. What was there reaction. How much money did they spend. Have you seen them again. Did you give them an incentive? Then after you have done that with 50 people, look through your notebook and see if you think you really made a connection with those people. Some people are so damn ignorant and you will have a few who don't give a shit, but you will see that the majority of them will be thrilled by your gesture. Keep doing this and you will double your base of loyal regulars. Bar Marketing Strategies For The Road To Success

04:02
http://barrestaurantsuccess.com/n... Hello and welcome to another episode of bar owner TV, today I want to talk about the bar restaurant owners road to success. The vision you must have in order to be successful in this business. I’m willing to bet you sometimes think, If only I could add another $5,000 in sales per week to my business, I would be so much happier. If I could just raise my sales by another $1,000 each week, this would give me another $52,000 in sales, and get me one step closer to where I really want to be and be able to take more time off. This is exactly what you need to be thinking about but the problem that I see from so many owners and operators is they think about it, but don’t take action to make it work. When you think like this, you’re setting yourself a goal. That’s step one. Now you need to think of the different strategies that will take you to that goal. How are you going to execute and reach these numbers? To reach your goal, you must further break down into how these strategies are going to increase your check average, your customer count, and the amount of business you really need. How many new customers do you need walking in your doors? Once you have an overall idea of all this, it’s time to create your marketing and promotional plans to get new customers in the door, to get existing customers to return more often, or better yet, both. My advice is focus on one night at a time. Create a weekly promotion that is fun and exciting, but also includes some great specials. What I see all the time is bar owners lowering their prices on food and drinks and that’s it. I’m sure you see the same thing. Well if everyone is doing the same thing, what makes your promotion better then your competition? Cheaper drinks? Is lowering your prices over and over going to get you to where you want to be financially? Anyone can go to a bar or restaurant and have a few drinks and eat. But what can you do differently then everyone else that provides something fun or entertaining for your guests? So the first step here is define a goal that is realistic to reach. Then write down the plan on how you are going to reach this goal. What day of the week are you going to try to increase. Who is your target market and how are you going to get the word out to them in the most cost effective way. YES, this is going to cost a little money out of your pocket to reach new customers. It costs money to make money in this business, but if you have a strategic plan mapped out of how to reach your numbers and if you are using the marketing strategies I provide to you, it’s simple to reach your goals. Procrastination gets the best of all of us and that’s why I’ve always had mentors for the last 4 years. If you feel you need someone to help guide you to reach your goals, to map out the process, to give you new ideas on promotions that will make you stand out from your competition, you should really consider my coaching and consulting package for this month. Right now you can get 3 30 minute phone consultations for only $500. If you read the success stories on Bar Owner.TV you will see my clients have increased their sales by several thousand dollars. One of them nearly $60,000 from a promotion that only costs $350. So if you are at all thinking $500 is a lot of money to start reaching your goals and getting you on the right path to success, this isn’t for you. But if you are willing to spend $500 to increase your sales by several thousands of dollars and get new fresh ideas that are working for other owners all around the country, please go to www.BarOwner.TV and go to the contact page and leave a message that you’d like more information on the consulting package. I’ll see you on the next episode.

7 Proven Ways to Grow eCommerce Sales By 50% or More | Increase eCommerce Sales

08:23
You want to grow your e-commerce site. Well, you know what? The way you think you're gonna grow your e-commerce site isn't the real way to grow. ►►Subscribe here to learn more of my secret SEO tips: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ Read more on my blog: https://neilpatel.com/blog Hey everyone, I'm Neil Patel, and today, I'm going to share seven ways you can increase your e-commerce sales by over 50%. Tip #1: Focus on one product. You do not need to be selling millions of products like Amazon to do well. I met a lady who makes high heels more comfortable selling insoles. She has one product, and that's it. Do you know how much she makes? Well into the seven figures per year. You don't need a lot of products to do well. If you're on Shopify, you can use Oberlo, and that'll help make it, so you don't have to worry about the logistics. If you're only doing one product, your life becomes so much easier. Focus on one product that solves a pain point. #2: Upsell and downsell. It's easier to get someone who has bought from you once to spend more money with you than it is to get new people to buy from you. If you're selling insoles that make women's shoes nice and comfortable, your upsell could be a pack of three instead of just one. That's an easy upsell. Doing simple things like that will increase your lifetime value, which will open up more possibilities. #3: Advertise. Facebook advertising and Google AdWords both work extremely well in e-commerce marketing. Facebook ads and Google ads are a great way to boost your e-commerce sales, and you if you're not sure where to get started with Facebook ads or Google ads, leave a comment below and I'll answer you, and I'll give you feedback on how to run the perfect Facebook ad campaign or a Google AdWords campaign. #4: Leverage subscriptions. Make sure you offer subscription options. For example, if you're selling makeup or lipstick, people are gonna run out of it. The question is just when? So why not give them an option where they can subscribe and continually get new makeup? If you're using Shopify, you can use a tool called Recharge to make your product a subscription. #5: Recover abandoned shoppers. In 2017, roughly 75.6% of shopping carts were abandoned. So, you need to make them come back and buy. How do you do that? Recovering abandonment solutions, such as collecting their emails. When someone's buying from you, you're probably collecting their name and email first before you're showing the credit card information. You can do things like exit intent offers, using tools like Hello Bar, where you show them an exit offer saying, hey, thinking about leaving? Put in your name and email and I'll send you a 10% off coupon or a free shipping coupon. #6: Optimize your checkout process. Baymard did a study on checkout pages. They found when companies optimize their checkout pages, they made an extra 260 billion, that's not million, that's billion with a B, extra dollars. Don't forget to optimize your checkout process. The way you do that is by first removing unnecessary fields. Why would you ask someone for their name and email and address multiple times? That's unnecessary. Keep it simple. The other way you can optimize your checkout process is by making it two-step. #7: Leverage a referral program. If someone's buying from your e-commerce site, they probably know other people have the same problem and need your solution. Create a referral program, and you can do this through ReferralCandy. You can do simple things like, get 20 bucks when you refer someone that also signs up and buys. The key with a referral program is to incentivize both the person giving the referral and the person accepting the referral. Follow these seven tips, and you should generate at least 50 plus percent more in sales. Leave a comment below and say, hey, here's my e-commerce store. Which one of these tips should I be using first? I'll respond telling you which one you should do first, second, et cetera, so that way, you're doing the ones first that are gonna create the biggest ROI. And I can't just tell everyone, hey, go do them in this order, because it varies for each and every single e-commerce site out there. But if you leave a comment, I'll make sure that I give you a detailed response that'll help you grow faster.

How To Become an Event Promotion Machine

35:42
This week Eric Worre gives you 10 Strategies to Become an Event Promotion Machine, and ideas on how you can be a world class promoter. Promotion in network marketing is the number one highest paid skill. The people who can get people to make a decision to go and attend an event, they get paid bigger than anybody else in network marketing… When people go to events, their vision changes, their game plan changes, and their view of the future changes. In this video Eric is discussing event promotion for the promotional partners of the upcoming Recruiting Mastery event, but the concept is the same regardless of the event or company. Strategy #1 is to Promote. As Eric explains, don’t confuse Promotion with Announcements. Most people announce, and announcements don’t create promotion. Make sure people know that you are committed to it also, let them know the value and benefits. For example, “Here’s all the things you’re going to get if you decide to attend this event with us.” Promotion is all inclusive. Strategy #2, promote to your entire team. Talk about what they are going to learn. Talk about the relationships, talk about the fun, adventure, excitement and ideas. Talk about all the benefits they would get by being there. Strategy #3 – Work With Your Leaders. Identify key leaders that are going to be part of your promotional team. Give those people some benefits for promotion and results, such as maybe you have a special dinner or party for those people, or maybe some incentives or some bonus recognition. Use your leaders to create leverage. Get your team involved. Strategy #4 –Prizes or awards. Maybe you could benefit by not just selling tickets, but you could use a few as giveaways, or incentives or bonuses. Maybe you’ve got a leg that needs to be built up in order for you to move to the next level. You can tell the people in your organization that if they achieve XYZ, then you have give them a ticket as a reward, as incentive, as a contest in order to be able to provide an incentive for them to do the task that’s going to reward you not only short term but long term. Strategy #5 – Recognition. Recognize the people who register. Recognize the people who register early. Recognize the people who are on the leadership team. Recognize they’re stepping out and getting outside of their comfort zone. Recognize them on Facebook. Recognize them on email. Recognize them on conference calls. Recognize them however you want to recognize them, but recognition drives behavior, it really, really does. Strategy #6 – Create an Event Within the Event. For example, if you are promoting an event, let them know of a special acticity or party you have planned just for your team. Create a little get together before the event even starts to get them excited and focused. There are lunches, breakfasts, dinners, workouts, or anything you want to do inside of your team. Create some extra things. Strategy #7 - Repetition. Repetition being the idea that you can’t just announce this and you can’t just invite people, you have to promote, which means repeat it over and over and over and over and over again for people to realize that you’re serious about this. Strategy #8 – Host Hotels. Create a host hotel if your event isn’t located in a hotel. Use it as party central. Maybe throw a pool part the day before the event, or have a party in lounge, or appetizers or dinner. Engage in those activities as a team. Use the hotel to help create some excitement. Strategy #9 - No. 9. Corporate or Cross Line. Talk to people that maybe you have good relationship with that are cross line to you, and see if they want a little chunk of your tickets in order to bring part of their team. Also talk to Corporate and see if they want to use tickets as incentives or scholarships. And finally Strategy #10 – Create breakout sessions for your team after the event is over. This will really help your team absorb the materials that were presented and create strategy that everyone can implement so you all are rowing on the same team. Emails are one of the most valuable assets when it comes to marketing. Companies like Amazone and Overstock make a large portion of their revenue from emails. Exit popups - whether you love or hate them, they work. It's one of the most effective ways to collect emails. Through Hello Bar you can collect emails using exit popups for free. To boost your numbers with your exit popup, make sure you use an animated gif in the background. 2. Content upgrades - this is a way to give users more information on a blog post they are reading. The top 4 social networks to promote your events are: Facebook LinkedIn Twitter Instagram So how do you make sure your marketing campaign is fresh and that you can make the most of reaching billions of users on social media? Tactic #1 - It's All About Visuals Pictures and video are the new social currency. Nobody reads anymore. Not enough time, not enough focus. On the other hand, it’s very easy to double tap on a picture. Collect as many assets as possible from your current event that you can repurpose. A solid photography investment is the basis of modern social media strategies. These visual assets will be key on pretty much every social network. Whether it is Linkedin or Snapchat, you will need an enormous amount of assets to create a coordinated campaign that delivers. Tactic #2 - Create FOMO The whole purpose of your social media marketing campaign is to create Fear Of Missing Out. Hire influencers to attend your event and spread the word about your event. Entice them with targeted registration codes, get them to participate in the lead up to the event with interviews, takeovers, behind the scenes. Remember that your performers or entertainers or speakers are the prime influencers, so give them collaterals they can share on social networks. Tactic #3 - Gamify Promotions Get people talking about your event online. You can use tools such as event apps or special discount codes to create a community before the event. Gamification such as competitions and scavenger hunts can be effective. Offer prizes: A special sit down with a celebrity A special access to a closed area of your event 20% off the ticket or a free ticket Tactic #4 - Be Present All Year Round If you wake up two months before the event, it’s not going to work, you will not get the exposure. Social networks now have algorithms that assign visibility based on your activity and performance of updates. If you want to give it the best shot, you need to be engaged and present all year long. Tactic #5 - Quality Not Quantity Back in the day, there was one golden rule about the use of social media to promote events: the more updates and content the merrier. Nowadays, attention has shifted from quantity to quality. The only exception is for stories. Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat give you more prominence if you create more stories. The same is not true for regular updates though. Curating fewer updates but providing the highest quality content. It’s really about curating that one daily or weekly update that is going to give you the maximum exposure. Algorithms will favor you if you focus on fewer updates but of higher quality. Tactic #6 - Combine Social Ads Combine Social ads for maximum effectiveness There is no chance anyone will see your updates on social networks such as Facebook if you don’t combine your strategy with a strong ad budget. The same goes for Youtube. You should allocate some budget to seed your content, especially at the beginning. Organic opportunities will kick in later but always allocate a budget that can range anywhere between $10 and $1,000 dollars per update if you really want to increase the visibility of your updates. Cost-effectiveness is as follows: Facebook remarketing Facebook Youtube - remarketing Youtube Instagram Twitter Linkedin

This short video was made for a school project (with iMovie & GhostReader) in response to the question: "Do marketing strategies make us buy things?" The focus of the clip is on the 'place/distribution' element of the marketing mix used by businesses to persuade consumers to buy their products. The Number 1 Success Secret To Bar & Restaurant Business

03:44
http://BarRestaurantSuccess.com/the-number-one-secret-to-success-in-the-bar-restaurant-business/ Here’s What You’ll Discover By Watching This Video The NUMBER ONE secret you need to be successful in the bar business Why your customers must like & trust you What you need to focus on to make it happen There’s a lot of opinions out there about what it takes to be really successful in the bar and restaurant business but I want to tell you what I believe it takes to be the most successful. I’ve gone from nearly closing my doors to doubling my sales and tripling my loyal customers within 8 months time, and all that happened because I focused on one key strategy. I’m hoping you’ll agree with me and take my advice because I’ve seen this strategy increase my clients sales by 25% in just 3 months time, if you’re having a hard time believing that then You can watch the video where Andy Stiles from Stiles Public house says so on my website. Anyways, There’s no denying you need to have good service, good food if you have a kitchen, and yes a good location is a plus but that doesn’t necessarily make you a success or not a success. There’s also all different types of bars and restaurants too, so I don’t want to say you have to have a very clean and elegant place because you don’t. There’s tons of dive bars that are not the cleanest that do extremely well, better then some that are nicer. The reason for this is because of what I’m about to tell you. Now instantly you’re going to say “yea, this is common sense Nick!” but I can guarantee you’re probably not doing this as I’m going explain. So here it is. The number one thing you need to be very successful in this business is to have a massive customer base that looks at you, the owner, or even the manager as friends or family. There’s no denying that people do business with people who they like and trust. However most owners don’t focus on that. And then, what about the owners who have multiple locations and are not able to be there all the time, then how do you do this? I’ll tell you in a second but When you’re able to build trust and credibility, with each person who walks in your door, who comes to your website, you’ve got the piece to the puzzle that can make your business a huge success. Being able to build trust and credibility creates relationship, I’ll say that word again. Relationship! and this is critical to your success… Relationship can be built without you ever meeting these customers face to face. How? By having a automated way to capture your customers information by offering them something of value, and then following up with them with a marketing message that hits their emotions and it instantly gets them to like you and trust you. A marketing message That makes them WANT to do business with you. This simple little system will bring you more profits for the rest of your life, then anything you’ve ever done. If you’re more focused on providing value, trust, and credibility to your customers and new customers, while still being able to provide a good experience, you’ve got every piece to the puzzle you need to be a huge success. If you have a way of creating trust and credibility with your customers, leave a response below in my youtube channel.

Restaurant Marketing Ideas: Double Restaurant Profits

07:10
Restaurant Marketing Ideas: Double Restaurant Profits VIDEO TRANSCRIPT (kind of, sort of) If you are a restaurant owner or bar owner, operator, or manager, just getting into the restaurant business or if you've been in the restaurant business forever, you're in the right place. Today we're going to talk about one of my restaurant marketing ideas, or dare I say one of my most important and valuable restaurant marketing idea, which will ultimately lead to doubling your profit. See I get phone calls and e-mails all the time from people that want to know how they can double their business. What they really mean by 'doubling their business' is they want to double their profits. The difference really is, when you say you want to double your business, you're talking about adding more marketing, adding more labor and adding more expenses, which will hopefully lead to more profits. I'm going to share with you a 3 step process that won't cost you any money in marketing, in advertising, in added labor and really, not much more extra time. What that's going to do is allow any new revenue to go right to the bottom line, with out any added expenses! And that's why this formula is so simple to not only execute, but to understand! Step 1 to doubling your restaurant or pretty much any food and beverage establishment's profits: 10% more customers. That means if you're serving an average of 100 customers a day, you simply need to bump that up to a 110 customers a day. I want to share with you my best tip for getting more customers in your restaurant without spending any money and that's called Online Review Engagement. A lot of us are engaging currently online with our customers but we're not doing it correctly, in the native way, that they want to be heard and listened to, depending on what platform you're working on. The way we talk to customers is very different on Twitter to Facebook to Yelp to Vine to Instagram or any of the social media platforms out there. If you are not certain that you are engaging with your customers 100% accurately, in the way they want to be engaged with online, then send me an e-mail and just tell me the name of your business and city that you are located in, so I can do a quick little search of your social media. Then we'll get on the phone for a half hour or so. I want to share with you some of the things you're doing right and maybe some areas for improvement. This is so important, this is game changing, this is real life changing stuff when you figure out how to properly engage with your customers online, especially with reviews. Bar Restaurant Marketing - Creating Breakthroughs In Your Business

05:30
http://barrestaurantsuccess.com/b... Hello and welcome to another episode of Bar Owner Tv. Last week I was out in Denver Colorado to meet with Dave Elger from Hot Mixology to shoot a episode with him for his show and to help him with marketing his new bar. by the way.... If you are looking for some new highly profitable cocktails to serve check out his website hotmixology.com Now While I was out helping dave, his lounge was closed at the time because he isn't open on Monday or Tuesdays, but just about every bar on the block was open and I'd say there are about 20 bars within walking distance. A LOT of competition. Dave and I hit a few of the bars to see what was going on. All of them were dead! My question was why are all these bars slow? They all seemed like decent places and not one of them had more then 8 people and this was around 8 or 9 at night. As I'm talking with Dave and going from bar to bar the one thing I noticed is that they were all pretty much doing the same specials and they're all playing the price war game. Trying to under bid each other on drinks. Great for the customer but bad on the check book. None of the bars were unique or different besides the name of their bar and the layouts. Today I want to discuss how to create breakthroughs in your business. I'm not going to talk about marketing but I'm going to talk about what I actually believe is the starting point to increasing your profits and creating that un fair advantage over your competition. Your greatest success and prosperity in business and in your own life will come from your ability to create your very own breakthroughs. Most bar owners work with a mind set that assumes success comes one small step at a time and this is very unfortunate because with this mind set, it will take years to accomplish your goals for your business. Now I far exceeded to accomplish my goals because I created many breakthroughs in my business. I started taking marketing strategies and ideas that were working in other industries and applied them to the bar business. This was the complete opposite of what other owners in my area were doing. I broke through the clutter of everyone else and stood out from everyone else. Think about it logically for just a second. You can't be a follower and expect to ever really become a leader in your market place. It just doesn't work that way in today's fast changing high tech world. Instead you need to start focusing on completely different ways to attract and retain customers. You need to think about how you can accomplish more by doing less. So lets get down to my definition of what breakthroughs really are...... Breakthroughs are fresh, new, and more exciting ways of doing something that you are already doing. Breakthroughs make your bar marketing produce twice or three times the results from the same effort or even less. And breakthroughs let you change the entire bar business by allowing you to totally change all the rules about how to attract customers and how you promote your events. With the way competition is these days, all your competitors are out for you. Out for your customers. It's breakthrough opportunities that will allow you to beat them to the punch. No matter what, whatever you are doing in your business now, you can and you must find continually better ways to maximize your results. And it's not just about more profits, but it's also about achieving maximum results with a minimum of time, effort, expense, and risk....and this is something that very very few bar owners practice or even think about. So the big question is "How do we create these breakthroughs?" It all comes from having the right mindset and the right attitude. You must be willing to work hard and try new things that you may not be comfortable with. You must be open minded. Here's a few things that you need to do to create breakthroughs in your business: 1. You must market your business differently then everyone else 2. You must figure out how you can provide more value to new and existing customers, but do it in a way where you still make the money you deserve. 3. You need to figure out how to get your staff to connect with customers and build a relationship with them. People do business with people they like and trust. Build that trust and you will see repeat visits. 4. You need to sit down with other like-minded people and brain storm on different ideas and promotions. For those of you who want real life examples, templates, and strategies to creating breakthroughs in your business, I'm running a special promotion for the month of February and for the launch of Bar Owner Tv. Until February 22nd, I will be giving everyone $250 off of my 42 Day Bar Business Transformation Program.

Bar Marketing: The 7 Rules to Effective Ads & Promotions -- Rule #7

04:44
http://barrestaurantsuccess.com/b... Today we're on rule number 7 to effective ads and promotions. I'd suggest if you haven't watched the previous 6 rules, you watch them. When you incorporate all 7 rules, your marketing will be ten times more effective. You will have more new customers walking in your doors and you won't be thinking "Am I making the right investment or am I just throwing more money away?" Rule number 7 is quite different then what you are probably used to and that is your marketing is going to look different then all of your competition. First I will start with what most bar owners do and that is they place a ad in the newspaper or maybe they send out a postcard with their logo nice and big a the top of their ad, and then they have their special or promotion within the ad and that's it. Logo, address, special, phone number, and that's about it. The problem today is there is too much marketing clutter. There are too many ads in one single place, especially when you use mass media marketing, and it's hard to get a new prospects to pay attention to your ads. So you must fight for attention to be noticed. What I learned to do was either be outrageous with my marketing or make my marketing look like an advertorial, make it look newsworthy. To be outrageous with your marketing, you defiantly need a outrageous headline to start , and remember, your headline is your most important component of your marketing. That is what grabs attention and keeps people reading. I'm going to give you a few outrageous headlines that have worked very well for me and my clients. Here's the first one "If you like cold beer, sports, and hot wings, you've been targeted with a laser beam. Find out why and what to expect! " The other one is "Bar Owner Infuriates Local Restaurant Chains & Puts Them In A Uproar!" See These are great headlines that are going to get people reading because they are different, outrageous, and newsworthy compared to the boring headline's everyone else is using. Outrageous headlines will get your entire message read and that's the point of headlines! You may have the best offer in the world, you may have the best promotion, but if you have a shitty headline that doesn't draw attention, you have nothing! You're wasting your marketing dollars. The other way to be outrageous is to use funny pictures with quote boxes. I've used images of babies with a funny face, monkey's drinking beer, and a few cartoon type of characters. The idea here is to be funny and make people read your marketing. The other way to make your marketing different is to make it look like an advertorial. Lets say your are sending out a postcard. Make your postcard look similar to a newspaper article or magazine article. Nice big bold headline at the top and then a 2 column body of copy that persuades your customers to take you up on your offer. You are also going to want to have what I call a Call To Action box where this gives your prospect simple and clear instructions on how to take you up on your offer. Your ultimate goal when marketing is to target your perfect prospect and make them a great offer, but you need to make sure you get through the marketing clutter of everyone else and you do that by making your marketing stand out. I'd strongly suggest you go back and watch all past video's on the 7 rules to effective ads and promotions and start to implement these strategies. If you are looking for a faster and easier way to get started using highly profitable marketing, look into my 42 day bar business transformation program. This includes proven ready to go marketing templates that you can use right away without trying to figure out what to offer, what to write, or what kind of headlines to use. It's a tool box of effective ads and marketing strategies for bar owners who are motivated and willing to try new things. The best part is it comes with a $10,000 money in your pocket guarantee. If you don't put $10,000 in extra profits from the materials within 12 months, you can get a full refund, no questions asked. http://www.barowner.tv/42-day-bar-bus...

Facebook Business Page Tips - A Facebook Marketing Strategy That Works

24:10
Facebook Business Page Tips - A Facebook Marketing Strategy That Works. http://toshlubekproductions.blogspot.co.uk/2015/08/five-sure-fire-strategies-to-build-your.html http://www.lizmelville.com/. Research your ideal customer for your Facebook business page. You have to know who you’re looking for on social media. You might say, it’s everyone, but you would be wrong, that’s not your ideal audience when you are using facebook for business. You need to think about who you really want to talk to and reach on Facebook and then tailor your message to them. Use Graph Search to help you with your facebook marketing strategy. Type in phrases into the search bar at the top of Facebook. For instance, “Pages liked by people who like Liz Mellville”. Substitute your business page name for “Liz Melville”. If you want to snoop on the competition it could be a competitor’s business page name or another page where you might find your ideal customer. Facebook will return a list of other pages that your fans like so you can build a list of their topics of interest. In Liz’s case the results show that her fans are into books and literature. So Liz ought to talk about books and literature but she could bring it back to a business context and ask her fans, “what’s the best business book you have ready lately?” By doing so she is linking it back to what she has found out about what her audience is interested in. By using Graph Search you are able to hone in on what your audience wants to hear about. Importantly do not talk about what you want to sell but what they want to hear, that’s the key because most of the time that people are on Facebook they are not there to buy but to have a chat. Set some goals and measure your success It does not really matter what it is but you should have a goal because if you do not know what you want to get out of using Facebook how will you know it is working for you? Make sure your goals are specific so that you can measure your success. So it might be… • How many website/blog visitors you can drive from Facebook? • How many email subscribers you can get? • How many page likes do you want to get? • What level of post reach do you want? • What percentage uplift in sales? Whatever you choose make sure it is measurable and after a set period of time see whether you have achieved your goal. Seek out your audience You need to “fish” in the right place to find people you want. Again you can use Graph Search to answer: • Which Facebook pages do your audience love? • Which Facebook Groups might they be in? Search “Groups joined by people who like (insert your business page name)” and then join those groups, where appropriate, join-in the conversation and occasionally mention what you do. People will get to know you and come across to your page. Create Attention Grabbing Content You need the right bait to hook your customers and that’s your content. If you find that you are not getting post reach and engagement on Facebook it is not Facebook’s fault, the truth is you are not creating the right content. Great images are like gold dust on Facebook because they grab the attention and will engage your audience. It’s Facebook suicide if you try to sell, sell, sell. That’s not to say you should never sell but just follow the 80:20 rule. 80% of your content should be for your ideal customer and only 20% should be about you and your business. Use Facebook ads Facebook is now one of the largest ad networks in the world and it offer you laser targeting by using “interests” when you set up your ads. During the process of setting up your ad Facebook will ask you the questions about who you want the ads to reach. In your ad copy make include your offer and the most important information right up at the top before the cut off. Ask a question, spark curiosity, or invite people to interact with your advert. Experiment with the length. Some ads work better is they are long while others are more effective if they are short. To find out what works best try A/B testing and then use the one that produces the best results. Also test your images and headlines on your ordinary non-promoted posts to see what is likely to get the most likes, comments and shares before you use them on an ad. How to Build Unique Links to Skyrocket SEO Rankings (2018) | Backlink Strategies to Rank on Google

06:27
Do you know the #1 SEO ranking factor? It's building links. ►►Subscribe here to learn more of my secret SEO tips: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ Read more on my blog: https://neilpatel.com/blog Moz did a study. They interviewed SEO experts. And you know what they said was the number one factor that impacts your Google rankings? Links. But unique links are tough to build. So how are you going to create them? Today I'm going to share with you how I built over 23,000 unique links to neilpatel.com. And what's impressive about this is neilpatel.com is purely marketing-related. If I can convince other marketers to link to me, you can build links using the same exact tactics. So let's break down how I built over 23,000 unique backlinks. Go to BuzzSumo. Type in a keyword related to your industry. It'll show you all the popular articles based on social shares. Take the articles that are in-depth and list-based and break down things step by step, and then create an infographic with that same information. You can spice it up, add your own data to it, but, hey, the content is all right there in front of you. When you create this infographic, you need to cite the source that you got all your information from this specific website, but it'll go viral. Why? Because most people would rather look at an image than read thousands and thousands of words of text. Use Infogram or Canva to help build your infographic, or you can use Dribbble, dribbble.com to hire a designer. If you're going to pay a designer, it doesn't cost more than 500 bucks. Now that you created an infographic, what you need to know is this: an infographic has to be super visual. If it's data-rich, that's great. But if it has a ton of colors and is hard to look at, that's not good. If your steps don't flow in a smooth pattern, that's not good. Once your infographic is up and running, add an embed code so other people can take that infographic and put it on their website. If they put it on their website, what does it do? It links back to yours. If you don't know how to create embed code, use a plugin on WordPress called WP Embed Code Generator, and that'll just create the embed code for you so then that way people can just copy and paste and slap your infographic on their website. Now that you got that infographic up on your website and people can embed it so that'll create backlinks, you need to get traffic to your site. If you don't get traffic, no one's going to embed it. I want you to go back to BuzzSumo and find that article that had all those shares. Click on View Shares, and that'll break down every single person that shared that article on Twitter. You want to email 'em, "Hey John; I noticed you shared this article on Twitter "called 101 Ways to Boost Your Traffic by author Neil Patel. "I have a similar infographic "that breaks down those points in a visual fashion. "Cheers, David." Now that you're sending out these emails, you're going to get a lot of responses, people being like, "Yes, I want to see it." Not only will they share it, but a lot of them will embed it. Now, the next thing you want to do is go to Ahrefs, ahrefs.com. Put in that competitor article and see every single person who links to them and email them. It's that simple. And then once you have the audience, you want to create more amazing content, and I love using the Skyscraper Technique which Brian Dean invented. Go to BuzzSumo again, you type in keywords, and you're looking for articles like 10 Ways to Double Your Search Engine Traffic, and you want to write more thorough articles, like 101 Ways to Double Your Search Engine Traffic. You click on the View Shares. You hit up each of those people using an email. You get them to share your articles. And then, boom, you'll get more traffic, more backlinks, and it'll keep rolling in and create this snowball effect. You also want to do the same thing with Ahrefs. You go, type in your competitor URL, and you'll see all the people who link to them and which articles get the most links. Write better versions of those articles and then email them again with the same email template and asking them to link to you. By doing those things, you'll get a ton of links. Now, as you get this traffic coming to your website, you need to use a tool called Hello Bar. Hello Bar makes it simple to collect emails, just like how I collect emails on neilpatel.com with my exit pop-up. Now, when you're collecting all these emails, what ends up happening is when you publish a new blog post, you can email all these people letting them know about your latest blog post. They'll come back to your website, they're more likely to share it, more likely to read it, and more likely to link back to you. If you need help with online or digital marketing leave a question or comment below and I'll be sure to answer!

20 Restaurant Promotions For April

04:20
http://www.BarRestaurantSuccess.com/20-restaurant-promotions-for-april/ Today I’m going to bring you 20 restaurant promotions to attract new customers, increase sales, build your reputation within the community, and get existing customers back in the door more often. Softball Profits & How To Structure Sponsorships Like Trump Would Late March and early April I start getting e-mail after e-mail, Facebook message after Facebook message, about sponsoring softball teams. Sponsoring these teams can be very profitable, only if the teams actually come in and spend money. I’ve been burned in the past and now I make sure I’m upfront and clear what I expect from them. They don’t get the whole sponsorship till I see they prove to me they will be in before or after games. I love when they tell me “We’re going to put your logo on the front of our shirts!” I don’t give a shit about my logo being on a shirt because I have no clue if anyone’s eye balls made me a profit from the sponsorship. However I will know if I make a profit or not from the team coming in. If you invest money into your business, make sure it’s trackable and measurable. If not, don’t do it! Softball Big Money Promotion Now that I’m done with my little rant, lets talk how any bar or restaurant can make a good profit from softball season. If you want to attract softball players to your bar / restaurant, run a promotion one night where you’re giving away softball gear. Baseball bat, gloves, softballs, hat’s, jerseys. Get one of your liquor or beer reps to help out with the cost and put their product on special. Through this promotion, tell everyone what you do for your sponsorship and WHY they should choose you over anyone else. Don’t Set Yourself Up For Lost Profits If you structure your sponsorships right, you won’t lose a penny and you’ll have 5-10 teams playing ball for you. Coming in week after week. This is one thing I really focus on in my area being in the Midwest. We have those long cold winters. Last thing people want to do is sit inside when it’s nice. But having these teams who are loyal to you, you’ve got guaranteed business. The other thing you can do is to sponsor more teams is run Facebook ads to people in your area who have an interest in softball. You may even be able to target people who “like” the softball organization that you play for. You could even give a $50 gift card to any team who brings in another team for you to sponsor. April 15th Tax Relief Restaurant & Bar Promotion The next 2 promotional ideas are for bars and restaurants. On April 15th taxes are due. So for a bar you can throw a income tax party. Bring in some live entertainment or a DJ and run some kind of discount that plays along with getting money back for taxes. For every $20-$25 you spend you get $5 back towards your tab, something like that. Your offer could be a bounce back offer that looks like a check from the government. So if they spend 25 or more in the bar, they get for example a 25% off bounce back card to use at a later date. You could do this same idea as a restaurant. Have a income tax party dinner where you come up with a few amazing food specials and when 2 or more come in, they get a 25% off bounce back tax credit on their next visit. Another idea for a income tax promotion is to target accountants with a end of tax season party offer. They work their asses off around this time and they get excited when tax season is almost over because they make a bunch of money and then things calm down. Give them a reason to celebrate! Have them bring in the entire staff and reward them for all their hard work and effort. If you want to get the other 18 profitable restaurant and bar promotions for April, you can download them right below this video. If you have any questions about marketing and promotions, feel free to shoot me a message below and we will see you on the next episode. http://barrestaurantsuccess.com/20-restaurant-promotions-for-april/

4. How To Identify Stock Market Direction (Trends) Part 1

06:25
Want to learn how to gauge the future price of your stock? Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wL0McpX-l0 Visit: https://www.learnapp.co ------------------------------------------------------- Learn To Trade - How MarketScientist works: http://marketscientist.in/how-marketscientist-works-faqs/ MarketScientist Courses: http://marketscientist.in/courses/ Follow Prateek's Trading day @ mentor posts : http://marketscientist.in/category/prateek-singh-s-analysistrades-resident-marketscientist/ ------------------------------------------------------------------ Transcript market direction is actually referred to in the technical world as "trends" So a stock moving upwards, is in an uptrend And a stock moving downwards is in a downtrend sometimes stocks reach in a no trade zone or a sideways and this happens because as soon as markets go up it forces a situation of supply and when markets fall down it forces a situation of demand coming in. This was seen in the earlier half of December 2012 on the nifty hourly charts. Lets move on, when we use concepts of supply and demand over long periods of time you must realise that psychology exists on all timeframes, Except of course in tick-charts; wherever you have good volume, markets will always behave in the same way if your concept is technically sound. So let's see how you can become your own amateur financial analyst, determining whether your stock that you are stuck in or making a profit, might continue to move up or might continue to move down. Si the first thing we are going to learn is about a rally and a decline A rally and decline are seen on a per bar basis, meaning we look at one bar and then the next. Simply put a rally is an upmove A Decline is simply a down move They together form something more important, which we will discuss later lets look at a rally first, So this is one bar this isn't enough information, the next bar breaks the previous bars high and this continues to happen Now you will notice that every bar is breaking the previous bars high and its also having a higher low. This means the market is in rally mode. Also remember in a real market situation this may not happen consecutively but a general move up is still considered a rally. A decline is just the opposite, and I'm sure intuitively u have understood what I'm about to draw here. So the market falling down each consecutive bar breaking the previous bars low and making a lower low every bar So that's very simple, here is another rally, which makes a new high and here is another decline. so now that we have that, you can see that we have formed a wave structure, markets will always move in waves, markets will never plunge down or move up unless it's an erratic day or days. Over general long periods of time, markets will always move in waves and this is very healthy. So now that we have understood a rally and decline let's move on to swing highs and a swing low. Simply put the meeting point of a rally an upmove and the immediate decline; this tent, mountain or this peak is called a swing high. the opposite of this is a swing low, meaning the meeting point of a decline and the immediate rally is a swing low. Now trends are made up of swing highs and lows, people call these by different names but all technicals follow this because a swing high is a naturally place of resistance, it basically means that the markets rallied hit a supply point, either buying diminished of too much selling happened and we fell, now the longer time frame between a swing high is untouched the more important it becomes. At MarketScientist we follow trend following methods/systems, so awhat we discuss in this video and the next is extremely important, if you don't understand please rewind or you can ask questions by emailing us or writing it in the comments below. Here is a real example of a chart, this chart belongs to nifty and it is basically in downtrend, but what we have to look now is the swing highs and swing lows. I want you to take am moment and try to find the latest swing highs u can see here I'm helping you a bit and marking all of the swing highs on this chart. I've marked them with green circles. Next step is to identify swing lows, now before we proceed I want you to pause and take your time and look at the swing highs and know that you have understood this. We are basically looking for peaks (swing highs) and crests (swing lows). I'm marking the first the swing lows for you and I want you to mark the resting your head or write it down somewhere. Pause this video and find out all the swing lows, we will meet in the next video with the answers.... I'll be waiting for you then.

Content Marketing Strategy | Blogs and Blogging

07:45
http://retirerich.biz/ Content marketing is a fundamental aspect of attraction marketing and blogs are are great content marketing strategy if done correctly. What blogs bring to your content marketing strategy is a way of providing unique content that is relevant to the issues people are hoping to solve as they search the internet for information. The first thing to do is define the goals for your content marketing strategy. If you are in business the number one reason you should develop a content marketing strategy and a blog as part of that, is to attract potential customers or leads. So the first thing you must do is determine who your target market is and what they are likely to be searching for online. If you are using a content marketing strategy that includes blogs and blogging and you are marketing natural health products, your blog post about the latest in wireless technology won't attract visitors. You need to determine how what you have solves the problem that prompts them to search online. Then you can design your content marketing strategy to attract them to your blog. Do some keyword research to determine the exact terms they type into the search bar and tailor your content marketing strategy accordingly. You can optimize your blog posts to include those terms so your blog is included in the search results when people make their searches. It will help design your content marketing strategy if you define the characteristics of your ideal customer. Age, gender, likes, dislikes, income, location, etc. are things to think about when designing your content marketing strategy to market to them. 0:14 blogging as a content marketing strategy 1:15 get more leads 1:30 get more sales 1:35 obtain time freedom 2:16 what can a content marketing strategy do for you 4:30 why blogs as a content marketing strategy work 5:35 you can do blogging online 5:45 quality content fresh content original content 7:00 blogging is a great content marketing strategy In setting up a blog the best option is to purchase a Domain Name, get a hosting account and install Wordpress from wordpress.org. You can use other free blogging sites but you won't own the blog and that's not a ideal for your content marketing strategy. Then install a theme and get creating content. Your content must be related to both the product or business you are promoting and to what potential leads are searching for. So part of your content marketing strategy development has to be creation of valuable content that solves problems. If your content is optimized for the right search terms, it will rank higher and attract more visitors to your blog content. Your blog has to have an optin form so visitors who want to know more leave their contact information so you can follow up and market to them. That is the main purpose for executing your content marketing strategy in the first place. Finally no blogging content marketing strategy is complete without attention to off page optimization. Simply put that's a process whereby many websites quote the content on your blog and provide links back to your website. This tells the search engines that your site has authority and provides popular content. You get more visitors, more leads, more sales and more money. If you don't know how to do all the things I mentioned as requirements of a good blogging content marketing strategy, take heart. Elite Marketing Pro is the place I went to learn and find support for all my marketing efforts. Do not listen to the “one size fits all” social media people who put their own best interests ahead of your restaurant’s success. Learn from my decade of corporate restaurant and bar marketing experience and my knowledge gained by simply ASKING the public how they decide where to eat and drink instead of guessing. The marketing status quo of today is shockingly flawed which is costing your business money. Living a lifetime in the trenches from dishwasher to corporate marketing director and everything in between, I’ve learned a few things about human nature and why we have to adapt and pivot instead of refusing to evolve. THIS is how to improve guest counts and run a successful bar or restaurant.
